Abram Obeys God
Genesis13
Abram loved God, and he obeyed(He did what he was told to do) God when told him and his nephew Lot to move to a new land, both Abram and lot were rich they had a but the new land didn't have enough grass of for the sheep and cattle to eat or enough water for them all to drink.
And Abram and Lot started to fight but Abram didn't want them to fight he told Lot that he could pick first of the land so Lot looked around he saw that one piece of land had alot of grass growing on it an enough was for his sheep and cattle,and the other land didn't Lot choose the land that had the most water and grass.
Abram got the land that was left with the least water and grass on but Abram knew that God
would take care him. he obeyed God and did what he told him to do.
" Be kind to one another"
Ephesians 4:32
1) What did GOD tell Abram to do?To move to a new land .
2) Did Abram Obey? yes
3) What does obey mean? To do what you are told to do.
4)When Abram got to the new land what did they see? one piece of land had lots of water and grass on it for their sheep and cattle to eat and the other did not have as much grass or water on it for there cattle or sheep.
5)Who started to fight ( with their words)? Abram and Lot
6) What did Abram do about the fighting? He let Lot pick between the pieces of land first.
7)Which piece of land did Lot pick? The one that had the most water and grass on it.
8)What piece of land did Abram get?The one that was left over . Was Abram mad because Lot picked the better piece of land ? no because he knew that GOD would take care of him.
Proverbs 29:25
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Noah obeys God
Genesis 6-19-18
God saw that the
world was bad, and God came to Noah and told him to build a ark (a
large boat)because I am going to destroy every living thing on the
earth because the world is wicked He (God) told Noah how large to make
the ark because 2 of each animal would be put on the ark and Noah did
what God told to do. it took him a long time to build the ark and
when they were finished Noah and his wife his 3 sons their wifes,
they brought 2 of each animal onto the ark and Noah and his family went
into the ark and God closed the door and it began to rain just like
God said that it would. it rained for a very long time the water
covered the all the land and mountains.
' Who puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe'
Proverbs 29:25
1)Who talked to Noah? GOD
2)What did GOD tell Noah?He was going to destroy every living thing on the earth.
3)What did GOD tell Noah to build? ark what is a ark? large boat.
4) How was GOD going to destroy the world? flood.
5) Did Noah obey GOD? yes he did what GOD told him to do.
2 Kings 2:11
As they walked along talking together. suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire
appeared and separated them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
Elijah
2 Kings 2:1-15
Elisha and Elijah were prophets (prophet - is a person who receives messages from God
and tells it to other people.)
And Elijah and Elisha were walking and talking It was Elijah's last day on earth, God was going to take him( Elijah) to heaven.
And as they were talking a chariot of fire with horses came from heaven the chariot came between Elijah and Elisha and took up to heaven in a whirlwind, and Elisha watched his friend as he went to heaven.
Elisha's work was finished here on earth so God took him to be with him in heaven, but Elijah stayed here to tell others about God.
' Elijah went into heaven'
2 Kings 2:1-11
1) Who were Elijah and Elisha? Prophets.
2) What is a prophet? Is someone that tells others what God said.
3)Where was Elijah going? God was going to take him to heaven
4) How did God take him to heaven? A whirlwind , chariot of fire.
5) Who was left here on earth to tell others about God? Elisha
Lazarus
Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha were very good friends of Jesus , and Mary and Martha brother became very sick and died and Mary had sent for Jesus but by the time Jesus had got to Lazarus house he had already died and they had buried him ( 4 Days before Jesus had got their.)
Martha had heard that Jesus was coming she ran out to meet him.(Jesus) and Martha said to Jesus if you had been her my brother would not have died.
Jesus went to the place were they had buried him and said Lazarus come forth and him came out covered with the cloth that he was wrapped in . Jesus had brother Lazarus back to life.
"Jesus wept"
John:11:35
1) In this story who are Jesus friends??Lazarus, Mary, Martha.
2)Who became sick ? Lazarus
3) What happened to Lazarus? He died.
4) Was Jesus at Lazarus house when he died? No
5) Where was Jesus? He was on his way to Lazarus house.
6) When Jesus got to Lazarus house he had already died , how many days had he (Lazarus been died?) 4 Days.
7) What did Jesus do ?He raised Lazarus from the died.
8) Can you tell me why Jesus could do this?Because he is Gods son.

Jacob Sees God
Genesis 28:15
A stair way to Heaven
Jacob traveled until the sun started to go down , it was getting dark so
Jacob stopped for the night he found a place to sleep and he used a large rock for his pillow
While he (Jacob) he had a dream in his dream was there was a ladder the reach all
the way to Heaven.
the angels were going up and down the ladder, and at the top of the ladder was the Lord,
Jacob heard the Lord speaking to him "I am with you and will keep you in all places that you may go', I will not leave you , that was gods promise to Jacob
Jacob woke up and he knew that God was with him
Jacob wanted to show God how much he loved him he took the stone that he had used for a pillow and stood the rock up and then he poured oil over it to show god how much he loved him( thats one way that they worshiped the Lord back then'
Jacob told GOD that he would worship always he also promised that he would give some of everything that God has given him.
" I am with thee , and will keep thee"
Genesis28:15
1)W ho was traveling? Jacob
2)What did Jacob use for a pillow ? A rock
3) Jacob had a dream what did he saw?He saw a ladder that went all the way to Heaven
4)Who was sitting at the top of the stairs? GOD
5)What did GOD promise Jacob? That he would never leave him.
6)What did Jacob promise GOD? He told God that he would give back some of everything that god had given to him..
Matthew 26:10
When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, why trouble ye the woman ?

Mary washed the feet of Jesus
Jesus and some friends was going to eat a special meal at Simon ( the leaper"s) house.
a woman Mary( not the mother of Jesus)came into the room carrying a jar
a jar of expensive ointment ( it was like perfumed lotion).
She opened the jar and anointed Jesus by pouring it on his feet and then she dried
his feet ( Jesus ) with her hair.
The smell of the ointment filled the whole room, and one of the men came and said why did you waste this ointment you could have sold it and given the money to the poor.
And Jesus said to them leave her alone ; she hath done a good work unto me.
1) Who poured ointment on Jesus feet? Mary Was this Jesus Mother? No this was another
Mary.
2)What did she pour on Jesus feet? Ointment
3 What did Mary use to dry Jesus feet with? Her hair
4What did one of the men say to Mary? That she could have sold the money and gave it to the poor.
5) What did Jesus tell the man to do ? Leave her a lone she has done a good work unto me.
Matthew 26:10
' She hath done a good work upon me'
Bible Verse
1 chronicles28;20
And David said to Solomon his son,Be strong and of good courage,and do it, fear not,nor be
dismayed:for Lord will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee,until throu hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
Jesus teaches at Galilee
Matthew 14: 22-33
It was getting late in the afternoon and Jesus sent his disciples away ( go to the other side of the sea so his disciples (helpers) went to the other side of the sea. and Jesus went off to pray.
Later that evening a strong wind started to blow and Jesus disciples (helpers) were in trouble
They could not move their boat because of the strong wind. and it was getting dark.
Jesus knew that his disciples( helper) needed his help. so Jesus went to them by walking on the sea of Galilee.
At first his disciples were afraid because they didn't know that is was Jesus.
but Jesus told his disciples do not be afraid , Be of good cheer;( be happy)
Then Peter said (he was one of Jesus disciples) Lord if this is you tell me to come to you.
JesuS told Peter to come.
Peter got out of the boat and started walking to Jesus on the water ( then Peter took his eyes off Jesus and he started to sink) ' Lord save me ' Jesus took Peter by the hand and Peter could stand beside Jesus again he told Peter ye of little faith. then they got into the boat.
1) Where was Jesus teaching? Galilee
2) What are disciples?Helpers
3) When Jesus sent his disciples to the the other side of the sea where did Jesus go ?He went to pray.
4) When the wind started to blow the boat the disciples were afraid who came to help them?
Jesus
5) How did Jesus come to them?He walked on the water.
6) Were his disciples afraid ? yes why? because they didn't know that is was Jesus ,it was dark.
7)Who walked to Jesus?Peter
8) Why did Peter start to sink? Because he took his eyes off Jesus.
